It has been 10 years since Shepard Fairey’s last solo exhibition. For his much anticaoted show “DAMAGED”  he paired with Library Sreet Collective in his hometown of Los Angeles.

“DAMAGED is an honest diagnosis, but diagnosis is the first step to recognizing and solving problems. I definitely think that art can be part of the solution because it can inspire people to look at an issue they might otherwise ignore or reject.”

Shepard Fairey has shifted his artistic views to capture the essence of critical issues and with “DAMAGED” focus more on featuring diverse Americans who are impacted by sociopolitical issues as opposed to his typical portraits of distinct people.

“When greed and indifference are the status quo, it’s time for conversation.”
